Claves para la recuperación económica en 2022

Según analistas económicos cualificados, los artífices del crecimiento en España en 2022 tendrán que ver con tres aspectos: la recuperación del sector turístico, el impacto de los fondos europeos y la activación del consumo de los hogares.

Así, Oriol Carreras Baquer y Javier García Arenas, economistas de CaixaBank, dicen en un reciente artículo que en el año 2022 se prevé una recuperación económica y un crecimiento del PIB acelerado hasta cerca del 6,0%.

La pandemia aún podrá generar nuevas oleadas, pero su impacto se espera que sea limitado y que no sea necesario volver a introducir medidas severas de restricción a la actividad aunque las nuevas olas puedan producir un repunte de inestabilidad.

Turismo, Fondos Europeos y Consumo

De cara a 2022 se espera que la recuperación del turismo internacional sea más vigorosa, impulsada principalmente por los flujos turísticos provenientes del Reino Unido, EE. UU. y Latinoamérica.

El otro gran protagonista del año 2022 serán los fondos europeos (NGEU, por sus siglas en inglés). El Gobierno planea gastar alrededor de 27.000 millones de euros en 2022.

El consumo de los hogares también jugará un papel importante en 2022, aunque menor que el turismo y el NGEU. Durante el 2020 las restricciones a la actividad forzaron una caída del consumo que generó una bolsa de ahorro embalsado de cerca de 45.000 millones de euros.

Palancas para el crecimiento

El 2022 no estará exento de factores que pesen sobre la actividad, como la crisis energética que se está experimentando en Europa. Las disrupciones en las cadenas de suministros globales seguirán lastrando la capacidad de recuperación del sector industrial, sobre todo durante la primera mitad de 2022.

Las principales reformas clave son la reforma laboral así como las reformas pendientes en materia de pensiones. La reforma laboral es esencial en el marco del NGEU para abordar los problemas endémicos del mercado laboral español, como la elevada temporalidad y dualidad.

La temporalidad no se puede abordar separadamente de otro mal endémico del mercado laboral español: la dualidad o segmentación entre unos trabajadores muy protegidos frente a otros con pocos derechos. Esto se refleja en una brecha entre las condiciones laborales de los indefinidos y los temporales elevada y por encima de muchos de nuestros homólogos europeos.
