Cinco empresas nacionales se unen a la Ciudad de la Energía a través de la firma de un consorcio

El proyecto supondrá la generación de más de 3.088 empleos directos,  25.000 indirectos y más de 150 empresas auxiliares.

El Grupo San José, Prosegur, Prasesor, Creditaljaca, y Hurtan se han incorporado a la sociedad que gestiona la Ciudad de la Energía, un proyecto que surge como desarrollo y creación de un esquema de usos destinados a las energías renovables y con  un funcionamiento autónomo y sostenible. El proyecto, liderado por Movilidad Eléctrica Andaluza (Movand), albergará una fábrica para la producción de vehículos de todo tipo de motorización exclusivamente eléctrica, farolas solares y paneles solares fotovoltaicos, una guardería infantil con 200 plazas, comedor, cafetería y asistencia sanitaria.

El complejo, que tendrá además un laboratorio de I+D+I, una zona universitaria con residencia para estudiantes e investigadores y un hotel, contará con una producción de 37,55 GW, proporcionada por paneles fotovoltaicos en cubierta, y  un sistema muy novedoso de paneles de Bipv de última generación que cubrirán la fachada de los edificios principales, “lo que supondrá un ahorro de emisión de CO2 de 13.894 toneladas anuales”, según el gerente de Movand, José Castro.

El objetivo fundamental de la Ciudad de la Energía es, en palabras de Castro, “alcanzar un balance energético cero”, lo que se llevará a cabo a través de las redes inteligentes o Smart Grid. Unas redes que tienen mucho que decir en cuanto al futuro energético para la optimización en la gestión y aprovechamiento de la energía.

El recinto va a ser una buena prueba piloto para el desarrollo de esta tecnología, donde la producción y el consumo convivirán en un mismo espacio, gestionándose la eficiencia del alumbrado público y otros servicios de iluminación, extrapolable a cualquier municipio.

El proyecto, en la que se invertirán más de 300 millones de euros a través de capital privado y público, generará en sus dos primeros años de funcionamiento más de 3.088 puestos de trabajo directos y 25.000 indirectos.
