España refuerza las relaciones comerciales con China

El ministro de Economía, Comercio y Empresa, Carlos Cuerpo, junto al ministro chino de Comercio, Wang Wentao, presidieron en Madrid la 29ª Comisión Mixta Económica e Industrial Hispano-China, foro bilateral para estrechar las relaciones económicas y comerciales entre ambos países. En la reunión ha participado también el ministro de Industria y Turismo, Jordi Hereu, quien mantuvo previamente un encuentro bilateral con el ministro chino.

Encuentro para impulsar nuevas oportunidades de negocio en China

Además también tuvo lugar la celebración de un encuentro con una amplia representación de empresas españolas de diversos sectores, así como con CEOE y la Cámara de Comercio de España, para poner en valor su actividad y abrir nuevas oportunidades en el mercado chino.

España se puso de manifiesto la necesidad de seguir avanzando en sus relaciones con China a través de un acercamiento comercial e inversor.

Ambos países se han comprometieron a la creación de un Mecanismo permanente de Cooperación y Diálogo en materia comercial y de inversión para abordar oportunidades y resolver problemas y barreras afrontadas por empresas de ambos países.

Durante el encuentro, se identificaron diferentes áreas de colaboración en sectores como los de tecnología industrial, farmaquímico, agroalimentario o turismo.

El ministro de Economía, Comercio y Empresa, Carlos Cuerpo transmitió a su homólogo el deseo de incrementar la presencia de empresas españolas en el mercado chino, de tal forma que China pueda beneficiarse de la experiencia y los servicios de calidad que ofrece nuestro tejido productivo.

Por su parte, el ministro de Industria y Turismo, Jordi Hereu incidió en esta misma idea, solicitando también al ministro Wentao que se facilite la participación de las empresas españolas en la cadena de valor de las empresas chinas.

El gran crecimiento de las relaciones económicas y comerciales bilaterales en los últimos años convierte a China en un socio económico clave para España, el principal en el continente asiático. En 2023, China se posicionó como el segundo proveedor de España en el mundo (el primero fuera de la UE) y es el principal cliente español en Asia.
