Montepino da el salto internacional a Portugal

Bankinter Investment y Valfondo, gestora de la cartera logística Montepino, han alcanzado un nuevo hito al firmar el primer proyecto internacional en Portugal de Montepino, uno de los mayores propietarios de inmuebles logísticos de España.

La empresa llega a Portugal, como estaba previsto, con la compra del mayor suelo finalista de Lisboa, en lo que se ha convertido en la operación logística más importante de la última década en el país vecino. Se trata de una parcela con una superficie de 414.000 m2 y una superficie alquilable de 147.000 m2 que pasará a pertenecer a la cartera logística de Montepino.

El proyecto cuenta con una ubicación estratégica en el cruce de la Autopista A1 de Lisboa a Oporto en Castanheira do Ribatejo donde se cruza con la A10, la autopista que une Lisboa con España y el Algarve. Una zona que concentra más del 60% del parque logístico de Lisboa, ciudad que concentra más del 80% del parque logístico de Portugal.La parcela tiene todas las licencias y los trabajos de urbanización están actualmente en marcha con un avance superior al 60%, por lo que Valfondo proyecta poder empezar las obras durante el año en curso.

Expansión internacional en tiempo récord

Este proyecto en Portugal constituye el salto definitivo de Montepino al panorama inmologístico internacional, tras convertirse en una de las principales promotoras y asset manager especializada en logística de España. “Supone la materialización de la estrategia de internacionalización que lanzamos a principio de este año para diversificar nuestras operaciones tanto en localizaciones como en clientes potenciales”, ha asegurado Juan José Vera, consejero de Montepino y director general de Valfondo.
