Confianza en un aperturismo comercial en Estados Unidos

Los datos de las votaciones confirman a Joe Biden como presidente de los Estados Unidos, lo que hace recuperar la confianza en los mercados tras el posible aperturismo comercial en Estados Unidos.

Tras las maratonianas jornadas pre y postelectorales en los Estados Unidos y después del desarrollo del complejo proceso electoral estadounidense, se contempla que la diferencia de votos ha sido bastante más ajustada a la que se reflejaba en las encuestas previas.

Se demuestra que el bipartidismo se mantiene como el mantra de la política del país norteamericano y que que la sociedad del país está dividida en casi dos mitades: la de los demócratas y la de los republicanos.

No obstante, hasta los recuentos y confirmaciones de los últimos votos no se dará por cerrado el proceso y quedará, para el nombramiento de Biden como presidente, el proceso de las fechas constitucionalmente fijadas: la confirmación por el Colegio Electoral de los resultados definitivos, proclamación por la Cámara de Representantes y, el 20 de Enero, la toma de posesión y el juramente del nuevo presidente.

Joseph Robinette Biden nació en el estado de Pensilvania el 20 de noviembre de 1942, por lo que este mismo mes cumplirá los 78 años. Tiene una amplia trayectoria política que va desde su ejercicio como como senador por Delaware (entre los años 1973 y 2009) hasta que fuera vicepresidente de Estados Unidos desde 2009 hasta 2017.

Del nuevo mandato cuatrienal del demócrata al frente de la presidencia de la todavía primera potencia mundial, se espera una vuelta a los comportamientos de las administraciones estadounidenses que han ido ocupando el poder desde la segunda guerra mundial y que, en el panorama internacional, entre otras constantes se encontrará el mantenimiento de alianzas y la acción multilateral.

Además, desde los sectores españoles más perjudicados por la imposición de aranceles en sus productos por la administración Trum también se espera un cambio en esa tendencia.
