Asturias concede ayudas a 21 empresas para proyectos de I+D+i

El Gobierno del Principado de Asturias pretende generar sinergias en el ámbito de la innovación entre empresas líderes en sus sectores y otras firmas con capacidad tecnológica suficiente, provocará que se beneficien las empresas más pequeñas.

El Instituto de Desarrollo Económico del Principado de Asturias (IDEPA), dependiente de la Consejería de Empleo, Industria y Turismo, concedió 2.247.301 euros en subvenciones para el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación en colaboración entre empresas tractoras y pequeñas y medianas empresas (pymes).

A la convocatoria se presentaron 27 empresas agrupadas en ocho proyectos, de los que se aprobaron seis en los que participan 21 firmas. De éstas, seis empresas actúan como tractoras: Pasek Minerales; Ingeniería y Diseño Europeo (IDESA); Industrias Lácteas Asturianas (Reny Picot); ArcelorMittal Innovación, Investigación e Inversión; Thyssenkrupp Elevator Innovation Center y General de Alquiler de Maquinaria (GAM). La inversión total de los proyectos aprobados alcanza los 5,6 millones.

El director general de Innovación y Emprendimiento, Francisco Delgado, destacó que «el alcance de esta convocatoria, donde se combina el liderazgo de una empresa tractora, la aportación de pymes y la contribución de centros tecnológicos y la universidad». Además señaló  «la implantación creciente de los modelos de innovación abierta, colaboraciones que, sin duda, redundarán en beneficio del sistema autonómico de I+D+i. Estas 21 empresas en 6 proyectos de distintos sectores hacen visible el dinamismo innovador de Asturias».

Delgado subrayó que «el Principado incentiva así a las empresas a seguir apostando por la innovación. Aún siendo positivas las cifras de la Encuesta sobre Innovación en las Empresas 2015 del INE, que refleja un aumento del 8,6% del gasto en Asturias con respecto al año anterior, debemos seguir trabajando en esta dirección para situar a la región en cotas mayores de I+D+i».
