COFIDES financia la expansión internacional de BMAT con 577.000 euros

COFIDES ha reforzado la estrategia de internacionalización de BMAT Music Innovation, compañía española especializada en tecnologías de monitorización musical, mediante la concesión de dos préstamos por un total de 577.000 euros destinados a impulsar su crecimiento en Francia y Singapur.

El primero de ellos, un préstamo de coinversión de 227.000 euros con cargo al FONPYME, permitirá financiar la adquisición de la empresa francesa de software Improvize, con más de 30 años de experiencia en soluciones tecnológicas para el sector musical. Con esta operación, BMAT consolida su presencia en uno de los mercados más relevantes de la industria y amplía su capacidad tecnológica para ofrecer servicios de mayor escala a editores musicales.

El segundo préstamo, por 350.000 euros y también procedente del FONPYME, se destina a la compra de una compañía tecnológica de Singapur especializada en monitorización y procesamiento de derechos musicales. Esta adquisición refuerza la posición de BMAT en Asia y mejora su cobertura en mercados estratégicos de la región.

COFIDES acompaña a BMAT en su expansión internacional desde 2019, apoyando la apertura de filiales en Argentina, Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y Japón, así como diversas adquisiciones en Italia, EE.UU. y Japón.

El director del Departamento de Inversiones de COFIDES, Miguel Ángel Ladero, ha destacado que “el crecimiento internacional de compañías tecnológicas españolas como BMAT demuestra la capacidad de nuestro tejido empresarial para competir globalmente en sectores de alto valor añadido”. Según señaló, estas operaciones impulsan la innovación, fortalecen capacidades tecnológicas y contribuyen al posicionamiento de España en la economía digital.

Por su parte, el director financiero de BMAT, Salvador Gurrera, subrayó que “el apoyo de COFIDES ha fortalecido la capacidad de crecimiento de BMAT en operaciones de M&A y en la apertura de nuevas filiales”, y afirmó que las nuevas adquisiciones suponen “un paso más para consolidarnos como el sistema operativo de la industria musical”.
