Empresas

El Círculo de Empresarios celebra en el Senado la XXIX edición del PEP

El Programa Empresas Parlamentarios (PEP), iniciativa impulsada por el Círculo de Empresarios, celebró en el Palacio del Senado el acto de entrega de certificados correspondiente a su vigésima novena promoción.

El evento estuvo presidido por el vicepresidente primero del Senado, Javier Maroto, y por Ángeles Luna Morales, secretaria tercera del Senado, con la participación de la vicepresidenta del Círculo de Empresarios, Carmen Mateo, y del presidente de su Consejo Asesor, Pablo García-Berdoy.

En esta edición participaron 131 parlamentarios, que realizaron Cursos de Experiencia Profesional en 21 empresas. Con esta nueva promoción, el número total de parlamentarios que han pasado por el PEP desde su creación en 1987 supera ya los 2.000 participantes.

El programa, estructurado en varias sesiones distribuidas a lo largo del año, facilita la participación activa de los parlamentarios y su contacto directo con la realidad empresarial.

Durante su intervención, Carmen Mateo destacó que el objetivo fundamental del PEP es acercar el mundo institucional y el empresarial, promoviendo un mejor entendimiento de la labor legislativa y de las condiciones en que las empresas desarrollan su actividad. Destacó además que el programa fomenta un aprendizaje mutuo y un diálogo informado que contribuye a una mejor toma de decisiones y al fortalecimiento del respeto institucional recíproco.

El acto de clausura contó con la intervención de Pablo García-Berdoy, presidente del Consejo Asesor del Círculo de Empresarios, quien ofreció un análisis sobre la situación actual de la Unión Europea, aportando una reflexión experta sobre los retos y perspectivas del proyecto europeo desde su amplia experiencia en la política exterior española.
