Digital

Se presenta el Plan de Impulso de Espacios de Datos

El ministro para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública, Óscar López, ha presentado el ‘Plan de Impulso de Espacios de Datos’, una iniciativa que agrupa todas las oportunidades que abre la nueva economía del dato y que convergen con la perspectiva europea, y ha anunciado una nueva dotación económica, de 300 millones, con lo que el Plan movilizará un total de 500 millones de euros para el impulso a los espacios de datos en la industria.

El ministro ha indicado que “el objetivo de este Plan es fomentar y acelerar el despliegue de los espacios de datos sectoriales en todos los sectores productivos en España para que las empresas, y la economía en general, puedan beneficiarse del potencial del futuro mercado único de datos europeo, generando nuevas oportunidades para la innovación y mejorando la competitividad”.

La creación de estos espacios alcanzará a distintos sectores estratégicos como el agroalimentario, el de la movilidad sostenible, el sector salud, el sector comercio y el sector turístico. Además del impulso a los espacios de datos sectoriales se promoverá el desarrollo, explotación y compartición de los mismos entre estos sectores.

11 iniciativas y seis líneas de acción

Este Plan se implementa mediante 11 medidas contenidas en seis ejes de acción y un esquema de gobernanza que se ejecutará durante el periodo 2024-2026. El Plan estará dotado con un presupuesto total de 500 millones de euros financiado mediante la inversión 1 del componente 12 -espacios de datos sectoriales- y la inversión 2 del componente 14 -espacio de datos del sector turismo-, en el marco del Plan de Recuperación Transformación y Resiliencia (PRTR) y el Mecanismo de Recuperación y Resiliencia (MRR).

De los seis ejes de acción o líneas de actuación, tres de ellos son estratégicos: promotores, empresas y la industria tecnológica. Estos se complementan con otros tres ejes transversales, que son los habilitadores, el dato público, y la promoción y divulgación.

Algunas de las iniciativas que contiene el Plan de Impulso de Espacios de Datos ya están en marcha, como las relativas al impulso de los espacios de datos en el sector turístico o la convocatoria de Espacios de Datos Sectoriales a través de la cual se están movilizando 80M de euros para 90 proyectos innovadores, como la compartición de datos clínicos entre hospitales para mejorar el diagnóstico y la detección temprana de enfermedades o la optimización de los datos de empresas de transporte en las ciudades para mejorar la oferta de movilidad.

Además, el ministro ha anunciado que antes de final de año se abrirán dos nuevas convocatorias de Espacios de Datos, una para casos de uso y otra para productos y servicios vinculados a los espacios de datos, con un presupuesto superior a los 100 millones de euros en total.
