España muestra su intención de seguir profundizando en las relaciones con Reino Unido

El ministro de Economía, Comercio y Empresa, Carlos Cuerpo, se ha reunido con autoridades, inversores y empresas en una visita de dos días al Reino Unido para fortalecer las relaciones comerciales y económicas con uno de sus principales socios.

El ministro se ha reunido con sus homólogos británicos, el Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Jonathan Reynolds, y la Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves, con los que ha compartido el buen estado de las relaciones bilaterales, comerciales y la visión común de un modelo de crecimiento equilibrado, basado en inversiones, reformas y responsabilidad fiscal.

El ministro Carlos Cuerpo y la Chancellor Rache Reeves han compartido la voluntad de seguir profundizando las relaciones entre España y Reino Unido y coincidido en la importancia de una estrategia de crecimiento basada en inversiones, reformas y responsabilidad fiscal, para tener un modelo de crecimiento equilibrado. Asimismo, han identificado políticas para abordar desafíos comunes como la productividad y la importancia de generar un parque público de viviendas.

El ministro de Economía, Comercio y Empresa se ha reunido también con inversores, analistas y empresas con los que ha compartido el análisis sobre la situación de la economía española. Este gran dinamismo se ve reflejado en la actualización de la previsión de crecimiento por parte de la Comisión Europea que lo ha elevado nueve décimas, hasta el 3% este año, más de tres veces la media de la zona euro.

“España será nuevamente la gran economía europea que liderará el motor el crecimiento de la Unión en 2024, pero también hacia adelante,” afirmó Carlos Cuerpo . “La Comisión anticipa también que ese crecimiento va a ser equilibrado porque va a ser compatible con un elemento de responsabilidad fiscal.”

Además, compartió información sobre el impacto de las inundaciones en Valencia y otras partes de España. Reafirmó el compromiso del Gobierno para utilizar todos los recursos disponibles para ayudar a los damnificados y aminorar el impacto económico de la tragedia.
