Las exportaciones a terceros países han supuesto el 37,2% del total

Las exportaciones españolas de mercancías alcanzaron en el periodo enero-septiembre los 287.586 millones de euros, máximo de la serie histórica para este periodo. Por su parte, las importaciones alcanzaron los 317.182 millones de euros. Así se muestra en el último Informe Mensual de Comercio Exterior de la Secretaría de Estado de Comercio con datos de comercio declarado de Aduanas.

Como resultado, el déficit comercial de los nueve primeros meses año se redujo hasta los 29.596 millones de euros, desde el déficit de 53.437 millones registrado en el mismo periodo de 2022.

El dinamismo de las exportaciones españolas frente a las importaciones hace que se reduzca el déficit comercial hasta en un 44%. Una de las prioridades de este Gobierno ha sido potenciar y aumentar las empresas exportadoras y la competitividad y hacer de España un país atractivo para las inversiones extranjeras.

La tasa de cobertura –cociente entre exportaciones e importaciones– aumentó hasta el 90,7% (84,3% en enero-septiembre de 2022, datos provisionales). El saldo no energético continúo disminuyendo su déficit de 4.718 millones de euros (frente al déficit de 13.380 millones de euros en el acumulado hasta septiembre de 2022) y el déficit energético descendió hasta los 24.878 millones de euros (déficit de 40.057 millones en el mismo periodo de 2022). Además, las exportaciones españolas entre enero y septiembre (crecimiento del 0,3%) presentan mayor crecimiento frente a las economías europeas, ya que la UE-27 (-1,1%) y la zona euro (-1,9%) presentaron descensos.

Los sectores que contribuyeron positivamente a la tasa de variación anual de las exportaciones de enero a septiembre de 2023 fueron el sector de sector automóvil (contribución de 2,8 puntos), bienes de equipo (contribución de 1,9 puntos) y alimentación, bebidas y tabaco (contribución de 0,8 puntos). Además destaca también el auge de las exportaciones españolas de servicios que aumentaron un 26,4% en 2022. Sin duda, el sector exterior español es motor de crecimiento económico y generador de empleo.

Las exportaciones dirigidas a la Unión Europea (62,8% del total) aumentaron un 1,1% interanual en los nueve primeros meses año. Las ventas a la zona euro (54,8% del total) crecieron un 0,2% y las destinadas al resto de la Unión Europea (8,0% del total) se incrementaron un 7,4%. Las exportaciones españolas a terceros destinos han supuesto el 37,2% del total. Las comunidades autónomas con mayores crecimientos de sus exportaciones en el periodo fueron Castilla y León, Cataluña y La Rioja.

Septiembre de 2023

En el mes de septiembre, las exportaciones españolas de mercancías superaron los 31.015 millones de euros, frente a los 34.853 millones de euros de importaciones. Las importaciones descendieron más respecto a las exportaciones (un 16,2% frente a un 10,4% interanual, respectivamente). Sin embargo, respecto al mes anterior las exportaciones aumentaron un 0,4% y las importaciones subieron un 1,6%. En septiembre de 2023 el déficit comercial se redujo hasta los 3.838 millones de euros (déficit de 6.976 millones del mismo mes de 2022).

El saldo no energético arrojó un déficit de 886 millones de euros (déficit de 2.481 millones de euros en septiembre de 2022, datos provisionales) y el déficit energético se redujo hasta los 2.953 millones de euros (déficit de 4.495 millones de euros en septiembre de 2022). Por su parte, las exportaciones españolas a la Unión Europea en septiembre de 2023 representaron el 62,5% del total, mientras que las exportaciones a países terceros (no-UE) supusieron un 37,5% del total y las ventas al Reino Unido se incrementaron un 1,2%.
