Qatar Airways y la AFE firman un acuerdo de colaboración

AFE, Asociación de Ferias Españolas y Qatar Airways han alcanzado un nuevo acuerdo de colaboración por el que los miembros de la asociación tienen acceso a las ventajas del programa QMICE de Qatar Airways.

El acuerdo ha sido firmado, tras un encuentro celebrado en el curso de Fitur, la Feria Internacional de Turismo, por Smaïl Boudjennah, Regional Manager West Europe de Qatar Airways, y Xabier Basañez, Presidente de AFE.

Qatar Airways QMICE es una solución integral de la aerolínea para organizadores de eventos, asociaciones internacionales y agentes de viajes, que ofrece descuentos ad-hoc y Avios extra a sus asistentes cuando reservan sus vuelos con Qatar Airways y otras compañías de la alianza oneworld. Los miembros de AFE pueden hacer uso voluntario de este programa para los expositores, visitantes y proveedores de las ferias y congresos que celebren, así como para su propio personal.

Al respecto, el Presidente de AFE, Xabier Basañez, ha señalado que “Se siente satisfecho con la firma de este acuerdo de colaboración que nos permitirá poder ofrecer a nuestros miembros unas mejores condiciones para participar en las ferias, especialmente las de alcance internacional. El programa QMICE de Qatar Airways ofrece ventajas en los vuelos de la aerolínea y de otras compañías aéreas que forman parte de la alianza oneworld”.

Smaïl Boudjennah, Regional Manager West Europe de Qatar Airways, ha declarado que “Es un placer colaborar con AFE, que agrupa y representa a los principales organizadores de ferias en España. El programa QMICE es una herramienta idónea para la Asociación de Ferias Españolas y estoy seguro de que sus miembros y usuarios de las ferias comerciales y congresos sacarán provecho de los descuentos y prestaciones de este programa de incentivos, dándoles acceso a la amplia red de rutas de Qatar Airways a más de 160 destinos en todo el mundo, incluyendo Doha, nuestro hub y un destino clave para reuniones, incentivos, conferencias y exhibiciones”.

El acuerdo alcanzado conlleva el compromiso por parte de AFE de hacer llegar el contenido del programa a sus miembros, y, conjuntamente, difundir los aspectos más relevantes del acuerdo y hacer un seguimiento de su desarrollo.
