La inversión en startups españolas se reactiva en 2021

Enero fue un buen mes para las startups españolas en cuanto a la captación de inversiones. Según el medio online elreferente.es y su versión en inglés, startupsreal.com, el primer mes de este año se ha cerrado con más de 150 millones de euros invertidos en las startups que tienen sede en nuestro país. Concretamente, las empresas españolas han recibido 152,267 millones de euros en las 31 operaciones que se han hecho públicas.

La cifra marca un hito en el calendario, y es que para encontrar una inversión mayor hay que saltarse todo el año 2020 y remontarse a diciembre de 2019. En aquel mes, la captación de fondos alcanzó los 236,5 millones de euros. Por el contrario, en enero de 2020 apenas llegó a los 48 millones de euros, cantidad que ahora se ha logrado triplicar con creces.

Tendencia positiva

Lejos de ser un hecho puntual, parece que la captación de capital de las startups españolas en enero sigue una tendencia al alza. Así lo indican los más de 400 millones de euros invertidos en los últimos cuatro meses de 2020, que marcaron la diferencia con los dos cuatrimestres anteriores.

Sectores más activos

La empresa fintech Unnax captó en enero 7 millones de euros, y Landbot logró 6,5 millones. La nueva inyección de capital, la tercera que logra desde su fundación, le permitirá consolidar sus mercados actuales y entrar en el mercado latinoamericano con oficina propia.

Les siguen otras siete empresas con inversiones entre uno y cinco millones de euros, 14 entre los 100.000 euros y el millón y otras cinco con menos de 100.000 euros.

Según los medios online citados, las startups más activas en la captación de fondos fueron las del sector salud, con nueve operaciones. Les siguieron los sectores fintech y edtech, con tres operaciones cada uno.
