Grenergy cierra la financiación de un parque solar en México por 15 millones de euros

Grenergy, compañía española productora de energía a partir de fuentes renovables y especialista en el desarrollo, construcción y gestión de proyectos fotovoltaicos y eólicos, ha firmado un acuerdo de financiación de 17,5 millones de dólares (en torno a 14,9 millones de euros) con la Corporación Interamericana para la construcción del parque solar San Miguel Ayende en México.

Este nuevo proyecto fotovoltaico contará con una potencia total instalada de 35 MW y estará ubicado en el estado de Guanajuato, cinturón industrial del país y una de las zonas con mejores irradiaciones solares del continente americano al disponer de un recurso de más de 2.300 horas de producción al año.

La compañía energética inició la construcción del parque San Miguel Ayende en el primer semestre de este año, realizando una intensa evaluación ambiental y rescate de la flora protegida de la zona, tal y como contempla en su primer informe de sostenibilidad, y prevé su conexión durante el primer trimestre de 2021.

En la actualidad, la compañía se encuentra con proyectos en construcción en cuatro países -Chile, Perú, Argentina y México-, que serán seis a final de año, con la construcción de su primer parque en Colombia y el mayor hasta la fecha en España -Los Escuderos-. En este contexto, hace solo una semana, la compañía también anunció la conexión a la red de Quillagua, su mayor parque solar construido.

Según David Ruiz de Andrés, consejero delegado de Grenergy, “este proyecto es solo una muestra más de que a pesar de la coyuntura global tenemos probada capacidad para desarrollar y construir proyectos en diferentes países simultáneamente. Asimismo, seguimos avanzando en la maduración de nuestro pipeline eólico y solar, que ya asciende a más de 4,6 GW en diferentes grados de desarrollo”.

Grenergy se instaló en LATAM hace ya 8 años y está presente en Chile, Perú, Argentina, México y Colombia con un pipeline global de más de 4,6 GW en varias etapas de desarrollo.
