FITUR 2020 celebra su 40º aniversario

La próxima edición de FITUR, organizada por IFEMA tendrá lugar en Feria de Madrid, del 22 al 26 de enero de 2020, se perfila una vez más como el gran evento de referencia internacional del sector del turismo. Y es que, a las excelentes previsiones de participación, alineadas con los buenos datos de la industria turística, se añade este año la celebración del 40 Aniversario de la Feria, una especial ocasión que podrá el broche de oro a toda una serie de iniciativas ya en marcha y que tienen como objetivo dar continuidad a la exitosa y ascendente trayectoria de FITUR.

La sostenibilidad, la tecnología y la especialización, seguirán siendo ejes principales de FITUR, a lo que se sumará el impulso de las acciones orientadas a crecer en profesionalidad, representatividad e internacionalidad y, por tanto, a superar los resultados obtenidos en la última edición, que congregó a más de 11.000 empresas expositoras de 160 países, y 253.000 participantes.

Para ello, la organización de FITUR ha puesto especial atención en fortalecer sus Programas de Invitados Internacionales así como la agenda de encuentros B2B, tanto el programa general, FITUR B2B Match, como el especializado en turismo de incentivos, reuniones y business travel, FITUR MICE, puesto en marcha por primera vez el pasado año. Ambas agendas se han revelado como una herramienta de contrastada efectividad para favorecer el contacto profesional y los intercambios comerciales, como muestran las 9.150 reuniones de negocio llevadas a cabo el pasado año en el marco de estas actividades.

Por otra parte, y ante las expectativas de una mayor participación de empresas y destinos, se ha previsto llevar la ampliación de la superficie expositiva de FITUR 2020, para llevar a cabo un crecimiento ordenado a lo largo de los 10 pabellones del eje central del recinto de IFEMA. De esta manera, al espacio que ya venía ocupando FITUR, se añade el pabellón 1 que concentrará la oferta de África, dejando el pabellón 6 en su totalidad para Asía-Pacífico. El resto de áreas conservarán su habitual articulación que sitúa a Oriente Próximo en el pabellón 2; América en el pabellón 3; Europa en el pabellón 4; Empresa, Tecnología y Empresa Global, en el pabellón 8; Empresa y Asociaciones, en el pabellón 10, y Entidades y Organismos Oficiales Españoles, en los pabellones 5, 7 y 9.
