COFIDES apoya a la tecnológica INBONIS en Francia

La Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo, COFIDES, S.A., S.M.E, respaldará a la empresa tecnológica INBONIS en su acceso al mercado francés. COFIDES facilitará 125.000 euros para concluir el proceso de certificación de la entidad, especializada en la calificación financiera de PYMES, que se materializará mediante la concesión de un préstamo de coinversión al promotor con cargo al Fondo para Operaciones de Inversión en el Exterior de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (FONPYME). La inversión total del proyecto asciende a 179.000 euros.

La financiación incluye un componente variable ligado a que INBONIS mantenga su calificación como empresa B-Corp en los próximos años. De esta forma COFIDES refuerza su fuerte compromiso con el cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.

INBONIS es una empresa ‘fintech’ que comenzó su actividad en 2015 y que aspira a establecerse como la primera Agencia de Calificación Crediticia (CRA) registrada en la Autoridad Europea de Valores y Mercados especializada en la calificación de PYMES en Europa. El proceso de acreditación como CRA es complejo y puede demorarse varios años. En la actualidad, INBONIS se encuentra en la recta final de este camino.

El objetivo final del promotor es ayudar a las PYMES a entrar en un mercado de crédito al que normalmente resulta complicado acceder. Mediante el desarrollo de su propia tecnología, la empresa trabaja en un software capaz de autoalimentarse con información para establecer un rating de PYMES a un coste reducido.

El Presidente y Consejero Delegado de COFIDES, José Luis Curbelo, ha subrayado la “importancia de facilitar a las PYMES la financiación necesaria para que puedan crecer y que los inversores puedan tomar decisiones con más información y seguridad”, lo que redundará en “un beneficio sustancial para todo el tejido empresarial y financiero”.

Por su parte, el CEO DE INBONIS, Alberto Sánchez Navalpotro, ha destacado que el respaldo de COFIDES permitirá a la fintech “ampliar el impacto positivo sobre las PYMES europeas, a través de la simplificación del proceso de evaluación de su riesgo crediticio, y demuestra el compromiso de COFIDES con este segmento”.
