Portugal, país invitado de la segunda edición de ChemplastExpo 2019

La segunda edición de ChemPlastExpo volverá del 7 al 9 de mayo en IFEMA, para traer de nuevo la gran semana industrial de Madrid.

La segunda edición de ChemPlastExpo volverá del 7 al 9 de mayo en IFEMA, para traer de nuevo la gran semana industrial de Madrid. Más de 200 marcas se darán cita para presentar las últimas soluciones para la transformación del plástico, así como innovaciones en química aplicada para las industrias de la automoción, alimentación, cosmética o packaging entre otras.

En este marco se celebrará el primer día de evento el Portugal Working Day que contará con la presencia de empresas delegaciones, centros tecnológicos e instituciones portuguesas y españolas con presencia en Portugal y que serán las protagonistas de la jornada. Un encuentro en el que se establecerán acuerdos comerciales entre Portugal y España, se transferirán buenas prácticas del país portugués en materia de industria 4.0 y se compartirán experiencias sobre los retos a los que se enfrenta la industria en materia de sostenibilidad, tecnología y mejora competitiva.

ChemPlastExpo afronta su segunda edición con más espacio expositivo como la plataforma que la industria estaba reclamando para hacer negocios y como punto de encuentro aglutinador para el intercambio de conocimiento de dos sectores en crecimiento. En este sentido, las empresas y profesionales industriales portugueses tienen en ChemPlastExpo un espacio especial de generación de negocios, colaboraciones, presentaciones de novedades y proyectos para las empresas fabricantes, distribuidoras y usuarias, que reúne, además, a las organizaciones públicas y privadas vinculadas con el objetivo de impulsar todas sus nuevas iniciativas.

La industria química portuguesa está muy diversificada y agrupa desde materias primas como polietilenos, resinas o fibras artificiales, hasta fertilizantes. Estará presente en ChemPlastExpo APQuímica, la asociación nacional de referencia para el sector de la Química, Petroquímica y Refinación. Es también la entidad gestora del Cluster de Competitividad de Petroquímica, Química Industrial y Refinación. Su participación en ChemplastExpo se enmarca dentro de su objetivo de contribuir a la evolución sostenible de las actividades de sus asociados, así como al refuerzo de su competitividad, y a la mejora continua de sus prácticas.

Portugal ha demostrado en los últimos años poseer una gran dinámica exportadora en el sector químico, que ya supone más del 12% del total realizado en el país, siendo España su principal mercado seguido de Alemania y Francia. Los productos que más se exporta este país son, principalmente, petroquímicos de la cadena de valor de los plásticos, caucho, farmacéuticos, químicos orgánicos, pigmentos, pinturas, aceites esenciales, productos de limpieza, fertilizantes, entre otros que tienen en común las complejas tecnologías de producción.

En cuanto a la industria del plástico portuguesa es muy similar a la española, ya que también es un mercado muy maduro (el 65% son microempresas con más de 10 años de antigüedad), y el 74% del volumen de negocio del sector procede de la transformación de plásticos. De hecho, el sector moldista portugués es una de las industrias más potentes a nivel internacional que cuenta con empresas con gran capacidad tecnológica con máquinas de primer nivel.

Marcas de primer nivel internacional confían en compañías portuguesas para fabricar moldes para la producción de sus productos más punteros. Esto ha conseguido situar a los moldes “made in Portugal” en el puesto número uno mundial, llegando a más de setenta países. Para consolidar esta identidad nació CEFAMOL que estará presente en ChemPlastExpo – cuya misión es representar de forma activa a sus afiliados a través de una actuación que permite unificar y sintetizar los intereses de la industria del molde portugués.

Ahora mismo los retos del sector están en la economía circular y en la adaptación para reducir el impacto negativo en el medio ambiente, además de la industria 4.0 o la impresión 3D. Y Portugal tiene un papel muy importante en todos estos desafíos por su importancia para ambos sectores, químico y plástico, puesto que para muchas de las empresas forma parte de la unidad de mercado ibérico junto con España, por lo que es fundamental en su estrategia negocio y posicionamiento regional europeo.

Estos desafíos y todos los temas que afectan al sector actualmente serán tratados en el Portugal Working Day dentro de ChemplastExpo 2019. Más de 60 instituciones, administraciones y entidades del sector apoyan esta cita de la industria, entre las que se encuentran: el Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad, la Comunidad de Madrid, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, PIEP, AFIA, CAMARA DE COMERCIO HISPANO PORTUGUESA, AICEP, APIP, CEFAMOL, APQUIMICA, Enterprise Europe Network, ChemSpain, Fedit, ChemMed, Plastics Europe, AECQ, Suschem, Centro Español de Plásticos, ASEBIO, AVEQ-KIMIKA, Plataforma Tecnológica Española del CO2, Hisparob, Suschem, Aimplas, ANAIP, ADELMA y la plataforma tecnológica Food For Life Spain.

ChemPlastExpo reunió en su primera edición a más de 8.000 profesionales de las industrias del envase-embalaje, automoción, electrónica, alimentación, farmacéutica, cosmética o aeronáutica, entre otros, para darles a conocer las soluciones de la industria de la química y de transformación del plástico.
