Una delegación tecnológica china visita NIMGenetics

NIMGenetics, empresa líder en el diagnóstico genético, y el Parque Científico de Madrid (PCM) recibieron la visita de la Delegación de Innovación y Tecnología del Ayuntamiento de Shenzhen (China), junto con representantes de varias universidades de dicha ciudad. En el encuentro también estuvieron presentes los responsables europeos de la mayor empresa de análisis genómico del mundo, Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI), partner de NIMGenetics.

El evento tuvo como objetivo conocer de primera mando las sinergias entre BGI y NIMGenetics en el campo del diagnóstico genético, y fortalecer los lazos empresariales entre ambas compañías y las autoridades tecnológicas de la ciudad de Shenzhen.

Shenzhen, con unos 12 millones de habitantes, está localizada en las proximidades de Hong Kongy es conocida como el Silicon Valley chino por potenciar y acoger una gran industria de alta tecnología. Dicha ciudad genera anualmente un producto interior bruto de 230 mil millones de dólares, el equivalente auna quinta parte del PIB de España.Como muestra de esta posición de liderazgo, en Shenzhense producen el 47% de todas las patentesdel gigante asiático.

El encuentro contó con la presencia de Ms. QiuXuan (Deputy director general, Science, Technology and InnovationCommission of ShenzhenMunicipality) y del Dr.ShidaZhu (VP of BGI ResearchInstitute), que estuvieron acompañados de otras personalidades relacionadas con la innovación y labiomedicinade la ciudad de Shenzhen.

NIMGenetics estuvo representada porsu CEO, el Dr.Enrique Samper,así como el Dr. Juan Cruz Cigudosa, Director Científico, la Dra. Sara Álvarez, Directora Médico,y el Director Comercial y de Marketing, Guillermo Chiarroni. Por parte, del PCM asistieron su Director, Alejandro Arranz, y Mariano Fernández, Director Financiero. Finalmente, del Ayuntamiento de Madrid se trasladó a este encuentro Enrique López, de la Consejería de Economía.
