FedEx adquirirá TNT el próximo 25 de mayo

El operador norteamericano abonará ocho euros por cada una de las 484.982.585 acciones de la compañía holandesa.

Después de trece meses de negociaciones con accionistas y autoridades de competencia de todo el mundo, FedEx ya tiene fecha para la adquisición oficialde la paquetera holandesa TNT. Será el próximo 25 de mayo cuando se hará efectivo el pago de los 3.879.860 euros millones de euros que el operador logístico estadounidense desembolsará por el 88,4% del capital ordinario de la compañía holandesa. Finalmente y tal y como ambos operadores pactaron en su día, FedEx abonará ocho euros por cada una de las 484.982.585 acciones de TNT, después de que los accionistas hayan declarado ‘incondicional‘ la oferta pública de acciones este miércoles 18 de mayo.

Los ocho euros por acción coincide con el precio de las acciones del operador holandés al finalizar la jornada del martes 17 de mayo, aunque representa unaprima del 33% con respecto al precio que registraban cuando se presentó la oferta. Los accionistas de TNT que todavía no han aceptado la oferta de FedEx dispondrán de un periodo extraordinario para acogerse a ella desde este jueves 19 de mayo hasta el próximo 1 de junio en los mismos términos anunciados. Desde FedEx ya han definido el próximo 25 de mayo como “un gran momento en la historia de estas dos grandes compañías, ya que juntos “transformarán la industria global del transporte“.
