Cepsa inicia la comercialización de lubricantes en Paraguay

En un acto en la ciudad de Asunción, en Paraguay, Cepsa y el Grupo Montealegre, una de las principales empresas de distribución del país, han anunciado el inicio de su colaboración. Gracias a esta alianza Cepsa, a través de su nuevo socio, comercializará en exclusiva sus lubricantes para vehículos particulares, marinos e industriales.

En Paraguay se venden en la actualidad 35.000 toneladas anuales de productos lubricantes y el objetivo, tras la firma de este acuerdo, es alcanzar una cuota del 15% en los próximos cinco años. Con el inicio de estas operaciones, son ya ocho los países latinoamericanos en los que Cepsa está presente, a través de actividades comerciales, o de instalaciones industriales propias. En palabras de Carlos Giner, director de Lubricantes de Cepsa «es una gran oportunidad para nosotros adentrarnos en un mercado como el de Paraguay, y de la mano de un socio tan relevante como Montealegre. Estamos seguros de que podemos ofrecer un producto diferenciado. Todos los productos de Cepsa Lubricantes son fabricados en España con la máxima tecnología, y además, contamos con la aportación de nuestro Centro de Investigación como palanca de innovación para ofrecer un producto de la mejor calidad a nuestros clientes independientemente de la parte del mundo en la que se encuentren».

Por su parte Pablo Kalbermatten, Gerente General de Montealegre comentó: «Esta alianza estratégica con CEPSA combina toda la experiencia en representación y comercialización de primeras marcas internacionales de petroquímica en Paraguay de Montealegre con la de una compañía energética global presente en varios continentes, y en todas las fases de la cadena del valor del petróleo, desde 1929 como CEPSA». En estos momentos, Cepsa Lubricantes comercializa 235.000 toneladas de lubricantes, bases y parafinas, lo que sitúa a la Compañía en una posición de liderazgo en el mercado nacional, permitiéndole exportar productos a Europa y otros mercados en expansión como Sudamérica y Asia. Este acuerdo se suma al firmado con Apsis, del Grupo SAIC, en China, donde Cepsa tiene depositadas grandes expectativas.
