Los turistas que visitan España ya pueden acceder y reservar experiencias turísticas en nuestro país a través del portal oficial de turismo de España www.spain.info, realizándose siempre la transacción con el proveedor del servicio. El portal oficial de turismo de España estrenó hace algunos meses una nueva versión con la que se da respuesta a las necesidades del nuevo turista al ofrecerle información, permitirle consultar y compartir opiniones en redes sociales y reservar todo lo necesario para su viaje: transporte, alojamiento y ahora experiencias turísticas.

El turismo experiencial pone en valor los recursos de una zona turística, dando al viajero la oportunidad de conocer el destino de una forma más vivencial y cercana, disfrutando de experiencias únicas que harán inolvidable el viaje. Hacer vivir experiencias únicas, atractivas y diferenciadas es un reto y una oportunidad, ya que ayuda a España a diversificar producto, a desestacionalizar y a convertirse en un destino mucho más interesante, en el que el turista tendrá experiencias, que contribuirán a fidelizarle. La secretaria de Estado de Turismo, Isabel Borrego, acompañada por la directora general de Turespaña, Marta Blanco, y el presidente de SEGITTUR, Antonio López de Ávila, ha subrayado durante la presentación ante el sector de la creación, promoción y comercialización de experiencias turísticas a través de ww.spain.info, que “las agencias de viajes tienen un papel crucial, ya que hemos trabajado en colaboración con ellas para liderar la comercialización de experiencias turísticas”.

Con esta iniciativa se da respuesta a uno de los objetivos del Plan Nacional e Integral de Turismo (PNIT) 2012-2015 relativo a la redes de agencias de gestión de experiencias, ofreciendo al turista nuevos productos asociados a experiencias. Para ello, ha sido fundamental poner en marcha un modelo de colaboración público-privada para lo que se ha contado con las asociaciones profesionales y los diferentes clubes de producto. Las experiencias están clasificadas por comunidad autónoma, rango de fechas y nueve categorías (circuitos y visitas; cultura y tradiciones; naturaleza, deporte y aventura; gastronomía; salud y belleza; compras; parque de ocio, y España Premium).
