Novedades Tecnológicas en el SIL

Los organizadores del SIL 2010 han querido que los profesionales del sector participen directamente en el certamen enviando sus propuestas e inquietudes

Las últimas soluciones tecnológicas aplicadas a los procesos logísticos, como los drones, las gafas de realidad aumentada, las tablets, y la introducción de IBeacons en el sector, se podrán ver en la próxima edición del SIL, el Salón Internacional de la Logística que se celebra la semana que viene en Barcelona.

La tecnología ha supuesto un cambio sustancial en la optimización y mejora de los procesos logísticos. Los últimos avances tecnológicos aplicados a la logística han traído consigo una serie de soluciones que aumentan la eficiencia en esta área. Setesca, consultora TIC especializada en el incremento de valor de las empresas y proyectos de mejora de procesos, mostrará en la próxima edición del Salón Internacional de la Logística las herramientas más avanzadas del sector logístico. Durante la celebración del salón se podrán contemplar en directo demostraciones de drones utilizados para capturar información. Dicha captura se realiza, por ejemplo, para la optimización de espacios y rutas. En la actualidad, los vehículos aéreos no tripulados, los drones, están experimentando un auge en todos los sectores. En el área de la logística sus posibilidades son muchas y suponen una mejora esencial en los procesos. Otra tecnología son las gafas de realidad aumentada.

Entre los posibles usos en el sector logístico, está su utilización en el “picking” de preparación de pedidos en los almacenes y que afecta en gran medida a la productividad de la cadena. Gracias a la realidad aumentada es posible mejorar la productividad en el picking, así como en la formación y en el mantenimiento y reparación de equipos. Del mismo modo, las tablets son una útil herramienta que, poco a poco, han ido sustituyendo a los tradicionales dispositivos industriales. Las tablets desarrolladas para propósito general, pueden adaptarse para usos industriales reduciendo los costes de las terminales en casi un 75%, y aumentando a su vez las posibilidades en cuanto a funcionalidades. Los IBeacons, son pequeños dispositivos basados en tecnología bluetooth o wifi que permiten la interacción con dispositivos móviles y redes de comunicaciones, cuya expansión en el mundo de la logística y distribución está siendo imparable. Son destacables sus capacidades de conexión como sensores automáticos(M2M) de cara a la llamada “Internet de las cosas”.
