ID LOGISTICS compra el operador logístico CEPL

El grupo internacional ID Logistics, especializado en la prestación de servicios logísticos globales y con importante presencia en España, anunció la adquisición del operador logístico CEPL.

La compra debería ser efectiva antes de finales de julio 2013. Con sede en Béville-le-comte (al oeste de París), CEPL ofrece a sus clientes (fabricantes y distribuidores) un servicio de preparación de pedidos a la unidad altamente especializado. CEPL gestiona actualmente 600.000 m² repartidos en 27 plataformas logísticas, con un equipo de 2.200 profesionales en 4 países (Francia, España, Alemania y Países Bajos). Para 2013, CEPL tiene una proyección de cifra de negocio estimada de 180 millones de euros. Con esta adquisición, el grupo ID Logistics se convierte en el líder francés en operaciones de picking masivo unitario con un alto grado de mecanización y refuerza su oferta en este segmento de actividad. El grupo ID Logistics amplía su portfolio de clientes reforzando su presencia en segmentos de mercado como son la electrónica, la perfumería o el textil. En Francia cuenta con clientes como Sony, Bouygues, Givenchy, Guerlain, Elisabeth Arden, Le Coq Sportif o André y en España como Coty Astor, Grupo Puig, Sony o Yves Rocher (líderes en sus sectores respectivos). Esta operación asimismo permite también al grupo ID Logistics reforzar su oferta en el sector del e-commerce con clientes como Vente-privée.com tanto en Francia como en España.Por otra parte, la especialización de CEPL en automatización y preparación unitaria de pedidos permitirá al grupo ID Logistics proponer soluciones innovadoras al conjunto de sus clientes y asimismo ofrecer a las compañías de e-commerce servicios logísticos flexibles y adaptados.

Con esta operación, ID Logistics refuerza su red europea, implantándose en mercados clave en Europa como Alemania y los Países Bajos además de reforzar su presencia en España y Francia.

Por otro lado, ID Logistics pasará a gestionar un total de 168 almacenes implantados en 14 países, con una superficie de más de 3,1 millones de metros cuadrados y 12.300 profesionales. Con esta adquisición las previsiones de cifra de negocio pro forma en el año 2013 de ID Logistics es superior a los 800 millones de euros. Como ‘Pure Player’ de la logística de contratos, el Grupo ID Logistics aporta desde hoy una oferta de servicios completa, adaptándose a todos los segmentos de su portfolio de clientes: distribución tradicional, gran consumo así como industria especializada y el área de e-commerce.
