El aumento de la insolvencia hace que Centro Europa no se recupere

Las perspectivas de Europa Central no son alentadoras. Según informa Coface, tras la recesión de 2009 y la posterior situación de crisis que afecta a la eurozona, las empresas de Centro Europa están registrando un crecimiento demasiado lento.

Los datos indican un aumento preocupante de la insolvencia, mayor que el de Europa Occidental, con un rango de entre el 7 % que registra Eslovaquia: 7 % hasta el 27 % de la República Checa. Esto obedece no solamente a la desaceleración en los países de Europa Occidental, sino también a los cambios en la legislación sobre procedimientos de insolvencia que tuvieron lugar en 2004. Esta reforma ha propiciado un aumento significativo de solicitudes para declararse en quiebra, especialmente en Rumanía y Hungría. Por sectores, el que más insolvencias registra es el de la construcción (un 30 % del total) atribuidas al descenso de la producción. Asimismo, la venta al pormenor registra un 23 % de las insolvencias, lo cual tiene como causa la pérdida de confianza generalizada del consumidor y la intensa competencia. Hay que resaltar que gran parte de los impagos en Europa Occidental y Centro Europa están relacionadas con las pymes y las microempresas. En cualquier caso, hay países como Polonia y Eslovaquia en los que sólo las grandes empresas emprenden procesos de organización: las pequeñas simplemente desaparecen. En Polonia, la contracción de la demanda interna (consumo e inversión) es la principal causa de las insolvencias, al igual que ocurre en Rumanía. Las previsiones de Coface para 2013 indican que las insolvencias en Europa Occidental seguirán creciendo. Rumania seguirá el mismo ritmo del 10% que en 2012, debido al débil crecimiento de la demanda interna (1,2%) y ocurrirá lo mismo en la República Checa, debido a la contracción en las exportaciones y en Eslovaquia, cuya tasa de crecimiento no es sostenible, y que será el país cuyas empresas más insolvencias sufrirán en relación con el frágil sistema bancario. Polonia sufrirá un incremento de un 29% debido al débil aumento de las exportaciones (2%) y de la demanda interna (0,9).
