España estrecha sus lazos económicos con Kazajistán

El presidente del Gobierno se encuentra desde ayer, en Kazajistán con el fin de fomentar las relaciones comerciales e impulsar la creciente participación de las empresas españolas en ese país.

A primera hora de la mañana el presidente del Gobierno, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, y el primer ministro de la República de Kazajistán, Karim Masimov, mantuvieron un encuentro tras el cual ambos mandatarios se reunieron con empresarios españoles y kazajos. En esta reunión participaron representantes de alto nivel de 15 empresas españolas con intereses en aquel país, de la CEPYME y del Consejo Superior de Cámaras de Comercio, y sus homólogas kazajas.

Las empresas españolas asistentes al encuentro pertenecen a sectores energéticos, transportes terrestres, infraestructuras industriales ligadas a la extracción y tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.

Al término de la reunión, el presidente del Gobierno y el primer ministro de Kazajistán asisitieron a la firma de tres acuerdos bilaterales intergubernamentales, tres acuerdos empresariales y dos memorandos empresariales.

Empresas como Repsol, Indra y Tecnicas Reunidas también suscribieron acuerdos de colaboración con empresas del país. El Consejo Superior de Cámaras y la C.E.O.E también materializaron diversos acuerdos de colaboración con homólogas kazajas.

En términos económicos, Kazajistán es un país crucial en el suministro energético y con previsiones de crecimiento muy notables para el futuro. Hoy en día, es el décimo exportador de crudo, y se calcula que posicionará en la tercera posición en los próximos años. La presencia española en el país asiático es cada vez mayor.

El objetivo del Gobierno es aprovechar el potencial de desarrollo del país en infraestructuras de transporte y energía para intentar reequilibrar la balanza comercial entre ambos. España tiene un déficit comercial con Kazajstán de 300 millones de euros. El 90% de las importaciones españolas son de hidrocarburos y España sólo exportó a Kazajstán 48 millones de euros en 2010, aunque en el primer trimestre de 2011 han aumentado un 40% respecto al mismo periodo de 2010.
