Los puertos españoles obtienen 1.003 millones de euros en 2010

Según datos publicados por el Ministerio de Fomento, el cierre provisional de los resultados económicos del sistema portuario de titularizas estatal (28 Autoridades Portuarias coordinadas por Puertos del Estado, dependientes del Ministerio de Fomento) arroja una cifra de negocio de 1.003 millones de euros.

De este importe corresponden al producto de tasas portuarias 926,7 millones de euros, lo que supone un incremento del 2,6% con respecto a lo recaudado en 2009.

Las tasas por utilización de las instalaciones portuarias (al buque, al pasaje y a la mercancía) representaron el 58% del total (539,8 millones), y el restante 42% (378 millones) correspondió a las tasas por ocupación privativa y aprovechamiento especial del dominio público portuario, cifra esta última que pone de manifiesto la importante participación del sector privado en la actividad portuaria.

Por otro lado, los gastos de explotación (gastos de personal, otros gastos de explotación y amortizaciones de inmovilizado) ascendieron a 871,1 millones, con un porcentaje de ejecución sobre lo presupuestado próximo al 95%, lo cual supuso una reducción del 1,4% sobre el gasto de 2009.

Por lo que se refiere a procedentes por las operaciones (cash flow), éstos sumaron 461 millones de euros, reflejando un incremento del 10,6% con respecto al año anterior.

El balance de situación refleja una situación financiera equilibrada del sistema portuario, ya que fondos propios, 7.816 millones de euros, financian el 56% del activo total.

En cuanto a las inversiones no retornables éstas ascendieron a 987 millones de euros, lo cual ha supuesto un descenso de 83 millones de euros con respecto al ejercicio de 2009, y un grado de ejecución respecto a la previsión de cierre del 72,4%. Así, las inversiones realizadas en el período 2004-2010 en los puertos españoles han supuesto un total de 7.398,1 millones de euros.

El Ministerio señala que los resultados económicos han sido un fiel reflejo de la positiva evolución de los tráficos portuarios. Así, en el año 2010 se consiguió un tráfico total de 431,3 millones de toneladas, con un incremento del 4,43% respecto a 2009.

Especial repercusión han tenido los incrementos en el tráfico de mercancía general 190,2 millones de toneladas (+7,8%); el movimiento de contenedores, que se aproximo a los 12,5 millones de TEUs, con un crecimiento del 6,4%; y el tráfico de pasajeros de crucero que superó los 7,1 millones de pasajeros (+17,6%).
