GEFCO Reino Unido premiada por ITM

El Instituto de Gestión de Transporte (ITM) ha nombrado a GEFCO Reino Unido “Empresa del año 2011” y “Proveedor Logístico para la Automoción” 2011.

El premio tiene como objetivo aumentar la excelencia en el sector del transporte y valorar a los proveedores logísticos según la calidad y rentabilidad de sus servicios. GEFCO superó a todos sus rivales en ambas categorías.

Patrick Sheedy de ITM comentó, “GEFCO se ha posicionado como un proveedor de servicios que ofrece valor añadido y se esfuerza en conseguir la satisfacción total del cliente. El grupo es pionero en el desarrollo de las carreras de sus empleados. Este grupo se merece todo nuestro reconocimiento”.

Por otro lado, Howard Nash, director del departamento de Automotive en GEFCO Reino Unido, afirmó que: “Los dos premios de ITM son un reconocimiento a la política de excelencia en transporte y logística de GEFCO. Mientras nuestra estrategia continua enfocándose en el esfuerzo para satisfacer las necesidades de nuestros clientes del sector del automóvil, también estamos apostando de manera importante por otros sectores”.

GEFCO Reino Unido es finalista también en los premios BIFA (British International Freight Association) 2011, en la categoría de Logística Europea cuyos ganadores se conocerán en enero.
