La Fundación Unicaja entregó anoche su XII Premio de Investigación Agraria

Dotado con 10.000 euros, el galardón tiene como finalidad, primero, estimular la investigación y, posteriormente, mejorar la economía regional con la divulgación de los resultados.

La Fundación Unicaja entregó ayer en Málaga el XII Premio Unicaja de Investigación Agraria, dotado con 10.000 euros y con la publicación del trabajo premiado. Este Premio se enmarca dentro de los distintos premios de carácter social y cultural convocados por la Fundación Unicaja, con el fin de estimular el conocimiento científico en el ámbito de la Investigación Agraria. El trabajo ganador será editado por el Servicio de Publicaciones de la Fundación Unicaja, continuando así la amplia serie de documentos que tienen como finalidad estimular la investigación y divulgar sus resultados para mejorar la economía regional.

El trabajo ganador del XII Premio Unicaja de Investigación Agraria lleva por título “¿Los alimentos modificados genéticamente tienen cabida en nuestros mercados?: Un análisis desde la óptica del consumidor andaluz», y ha sido presentado por el equipo formado por Macario Rodríguez, investigador del Instituto de Investigación y Formación Agraria y Pesquera (IFAPA); por Samir Sayadi Gmada, Doctor Ingeniero Agrónomo e investigador titular del IFAPA; y por Melania Salazar Ordóñez, Doctora en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales y ayudante de investigación de ETEA (Institución Universitaria de la Compañía de Jesús de Córdoba).

El jurado del XII Premio Unicaja de Investigación Agraria ha estado presidido por el Presidente de Unicaja y Catedrático de Hacienda Pública de la Universidad de Málaga, Braulio Medel, e integrado por la Consejera de Agricultura y Pesca de la Junta de Andalucía, Clara E. Aguilera; el Director de la División de Secretaría Técnica de Unicaja y Catedrático de Hacienda Pública de la Universidad de Málaga, José M. Domínguez; el Catedrático emérito de la Universidad de Córdoba, José J. Rodríguez; el Profesor titular de la Universidad de Córdoba, José E. Guerrero, y por Francisco Villalba, Consejero Delegado de Analistas Económicos de Andalucía, que actúa como secretario del jurado.
