La Fundación Valenciaport convoca la V edición de sus premios

Ya se ha abierto el plazo de inscripción para una nueva entrega de los Premios Fundación Valenciaport. Unos galardones que cumplen este año su V edición, y que tienen como objetivo fundamental el reconocer y promocionar las mejores prácticas del sector logístico-portuario de los puertos de Valencia, Sagunto y Gandía.

Los Premios Fundación Valenciaport comprenden cinco categorías: premio a la Calidad, premio a la Mejor Gestión Medioambiental, premio al Desarrollo de la Formación en la Empresa, premio a la Innovación Tecnológica y, finalmente, el premio al Mejor Proyecto de Investigación. Asimismo, y al igual que en la edición del pasado año, se entregarán dos premios especiales del jurado: uno, a la Trayectoria Profesional y, el otro, a la Iniciativa Empresarial.

Las empresas que estén interesadas en presentar su candidatura en alguna de las categorías podrán inscribirse y entregar la documentación complementaria, como máximo, hasta el 30 de junio.En ese sentido, está previsto que el jurado, que está compuesto por una selección de los patronos de la Fundación Valenciaport, pueda reunirse y emitir su fallo antes del 30 de septiembre de este año.

Edición 2009
En la anterior edición de estos premios, que contó en su acto de entrega con una nutrida representación de la comunidad logístico portuaria valenciana, los galardones recayeron sobre: Gabriel Ravello de la Quintana (Premio a la Calidad), el Grupo Alonso Salcedo (Premio a la Innovación Tecnológica); Roca Monzó, S.A., (Premio a la Formación en la Empresa); y por último Pedro Cantos, Óscar Álvarez, Rafael Moner y José Jorge Sempere, de la Universidad de Valencia, que obtuvieron el Premio a la Mejor Investigación en Transporte y Logística, dotado con 3.000 euros como estímulo al desarrollo de investigaciones científicas de excelencia en este ámbito. El Premio a la Mejor Gestión Medioambiental quedó desierto. Por su parte, en cuanto a los Premios Especiales del Jurado, recayeron sobre la naviera Grimaldi Lines (Premio Especial a la Iniciativa Empresarial) y sobre el presidente del grupo Raminatrans, Rafael Milla (Premio Especial a la Trayectoria Profesional).
